Description

  • Audit existing Google Business Profiles for optimization opportunities, inconsistencies, and compliance issues.
  • Optimize profile content, including descriptions, categories, services, hours, and service areas.
  • Create, verify, and optimize eligible new business profiles.
  • Resolve duplicate listings, verification challenges, suspensions, and reinstatement requests.
  • Develop local SEO strategies to improve Google Maps and local search visibility.
  • Monitor profile performance, track key metrics, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align GBP efforts with business goals.
  • Stay current on Google Business Profile policies, algorithm changes, and local search best practices.
  • Support GBP management for additional company brands as needed.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Business Profiles.
  • Experience managing multiple business locations or service-area profiles.
  • Strong understanding of local SEO, Google Maps ranking factors, and profile optimization techniques.
  • Experience with GBP verification, suspensions, duplicate listings, and reinstatement processes.
  • Knowledge of Google's guidelines for service-area businesses and multi-location organizations.
  • Ability to analyze GBP performance data and turn findings into practical recommendations.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple profiles independently.
  • Experience with nationwide service providers, home services, IT support, or other service-area businesses (preferred).
  • Experience managing 50+ Google Business Profiles and supporting multiple brands or entities (preferred).
  • Familiarity with BrightLocal, Whitespark, Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Looker Studio, citations, review management, and reporting workflows (preferred).
