Description

  • Build, mentor, and oversee a high-performing data team spanning engineering, analytics engineering, analytics, and data science.
  • Act as a player-coach by architecting initial data models, writing production-quality code, and setting technical standards.
  • Own the global data strategy, reporting infrastructure, and analytics stack evolution.
  • Partner with stakeholders across AI, clinical research, growth marketing, and other functions to deliver data and analytics solutions.
  • Implement data governance, validation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure trusted and reliable data.
  • Establish data privacy, masking, anonymization, and documentation standards for sensitive and clinical data.
  • Work closely with the technical engineering organization to own and implement scalable analytics infrastructure.
  • Use data and analytics to improve patient outcomes, clinic operations, and R&D efforts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data science.
  • Proven experience leading teams and building data functions from the ground up.
  • Deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, and modern analytics tools such as Fivetran, dbt, Databricks, and Sigma.
  • Exceptional ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
  • Deep understanding of data governance in a regulated environment.
  • Proven track record of designing data access controls, audit trails, and privacy-first architectures for sensitive data such as PHI.
  • Forward-thinking approach to using AI and LLMs to accelerate data workflows, with strong judgment about when human oversight is required.
  • Ability to connect data strategy to company objectives and operate with a product-manager mindset for data.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a bias for action and disciplined experimentation.
