Description

  • Support client Azure Data Platform and Power BI environments, including escalations and incident analysis and resolution.
  • Consult, develop, and advise on Microsoft Azure data solutions using tools such as SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse.
  • Consult, develop, and advise on Power BI report development and data modeling.
  • Design and deploy data pipelines, data models, and other data-driven solutions for clients across multiple industries.
  • Prepare data analytics solutions, including ingesting data from multiple sources, building performant star schema models, and developing reports and dashboards.
  • Communicate ticket status updates to all relevant parties and escalate cases when appropriate.
  • Interact with clients to identify issues, troubleshoot quickly, and communicate technical issues and solutions in business terms.
  • Configure, administer, tune, and develop client data environments based on contracted services.
  • Create and maintain documentation for each client environment.
  • Promote best practices internally and for clients, and collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to ensure solutions meet client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent certification.
  • 5+ years of experience with data and business intelligence solutions on the Microsoft BI tool stack, such as SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, ADF, SQL DW, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Experience working in a support role and understanding standard support processes such as ITIL.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Client relationship skills and experience managing vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong desire for personal development and commitment to continuously upgrading technical skills.
  • Passion for problem solving and learning new technologies.
  • Ability to work remotely as part of a team of data analytics professionals.
  • Work authorization without visa sponsorship, as the company cannot sponsor work visas.
