Description

  • Design end-to-end SAP technical architectures across S/4HANA, ECC, and BW/4HANA on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Lead S/4HANA transformation programs, including brownfield, greenfield, SDT, migrations, upgrades, and cutovers.
  • Define and implement high-availability and disaster-recovery patterns with tested RTO/RPO.
  • Architect solutions aligned with RISE with SAP and Private Edition reference models.
  • Lead multiple concurrent programs while mentoring Basis and cloud engineers.
  • Govern multi-party delivery involving SAP, hyperscalers, and managed service providers.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and present them to CxO-level stakeholders.
  • Drive operational excellence across large-scale SAP cloud transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of SAP Basis/HANA experience with proven cloud architecture expertise on AWS or Azure.
  • Experience leading multiple end-to-end S/4HANA transformation programs, including transitions to S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
  • Deep expertise in SAP on Oracle, HANA, SQL, or DB2, including SUM/DMO, SPAM/SAINT, CTS+, and ChaRM.
  • Hands-on leadership in large-scale migrations and cutovers.
  • Strong networking, identity/SSO, and compliance knowledge.
  • Automation mindset with Infrastructure as Code, Ansible, and CI/CD for SAP infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated player-coach leadership and mentoring ability.
  • Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or a related field.
  • Cloud and SAP certifications preferred.
  • Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, Focused Run, Solution Manager, SAP Signavio, or LeanIX is a plus.
  • SAP BTP architecture and extensibility pattern experience is a plus.
  • FinOps and cost governance experience for SAP on cloud is a plus.
  • Industry experience in regulated environments such as pharma or healthcare is a plus.
