Description

  • Provide Level 3 support for Azure environments and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, identity, security, and performance issues.
  • Participate in escalation rotations, major incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive remediation.
  • Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimize Azure resources, including VMs, Storage, AKS, App Services, Azure SQL, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Manage Azure subscriptions, landing zones, resource groups, governance controls, and hybrid cloud and identity environments.
  • Administer Azure networking, including VNets, VPNs, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and Load Balancers.
  • Implement Zero Trust principles and support Azure Policy, RBAC, Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud, and security remediation.
  • Build infrastructure with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates and develop automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Automation, and Azure Functions.
  • Configure monitoring, logging, alerts, dashboards, runbooks, and reliability improvements using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
  • Advise customers on optimization, modernization, governance, cloud best practices, cost reduction, and FinOps initiatives.
  • Support client onboarding, technical reviews, documentation, knowledge transfer, and managed services improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Azure engineering, cloud operations, or managed services experience.
  • 3+ years supporting production Azure environments and multiple client environments simultaneously.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and incident management experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS, Azure networking, AKS, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, identity and access management, PowerShell automation, Azure Backup, and Site Recovery.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender and Azure security services.
  • Strong customer-facing communication, consultative skills, ownership, accountability, and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across delivery, security, architecture, and client teams.
  • Preferred certifications include Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
