Description

  • Draft and develop insurance contracts and policy forms based on product specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate filings with state insurance departments and other regulatory agencies to secure approvals and support implementation.
  • Partner with Product Development, Legal, Operations, Claims, New Business, and Insurance Administration on compliant form and document design.
  • Coordinate policy reviews, edits, finalization, and internal approval workflows for assigned forms and contracts.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for product-related materials such as marketing content, training materials, websites, and producer communications.
  • Draft and maintain applications, administrative forms, and service forms that support business and operational needs.
  • Maintain and manage form and product filings in internal databases and support filing controls and process improvements.
  • Represent Product Compliance on cross-functional projects and ensure timely execution of compliance deliverables.
  • Monitor regulatory and competitive developments that may affect products or the product development lifecycle.
  • Participate in industry or trade association meetings related to product and compliance matters, as needed.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of insurance industry experience, with emphasis on regulatory or product compliance.
  • Proficiency with SERFF and the Florida Insurance Regulation Filing System (IRFS).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Paralegal certificate or relevant legal experience (preferred).
  • Industry designations such as FLMI, AIRC, or ACS (preferred).
  • Experience with group life and health insurance products and related compliance considerations.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and maintaining insurance contracts, policy forms, endorsements, applications, and administrative or service forms.
  • Ability to interpret legal and regulatory requirements and apply them accurately to product development and form design.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
