Description

  • Set up and test virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams, LMS) and pre-session technology configurations.
  • Monitor and manage breakout rooms, screen sharing, polls, and other engagement tools during live programs.
  • Troubleshoot participant connectivity and audio/video issues in real time and escalate to IT or vendors when needed.
  • Confirm attendance, keep sessions on schedule, and manage timing and logistics throughout programs.
  • Share knowledge check links, track results, and flag issues to the Executive Instructor.
  • Assist with uploading materials, managing permissions, and distributing post-session content and end-of-day communications.
  • Act as the Executive Instructor’s technical partner and handle behind-the-scenes logistics so the instructor can focus on delivery.
  • Provide clear, professional participant assistance for technical challenges without disrupting session flow.
  • Maintain calm and professionalism under pressure and coordinate solutions during high-stakes moments.

Requirements

  • Experience using and troubleshooting virtual platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Webex, and LMS systems.
  • Prior experience in virtual training support or technical customer service strongly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills under time pressure.
  • Clear, professional communication style for interacting with instructors and participants.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office setup.
  • Comfortable with short-term, program-based assignments, variable scheduling, and no guaranteed minimum hours.
  • Availability for programs on weekdays during the day, evenings, and occasional weekends; estimated volume: ~1 program/month (May–Aug) and up to 2–3 programs/month (Sep–Apr).
  • Willingness to complete a 3–4 week paid training and onboarding period and to travel up to ~10% for on-site support (all expenses paid).
  • Must be located in Canada with a strong preference for Eastern Time Zone availability.
