Description

  • Lead client discovery and needs analysis with commercial, medical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Translate ambiguous business challenges into defined performance gaps, learning objectives, and project plans.
  • Design and develop learning solutions across instructor-led, virtual, and digital formats.
  • Create facilitator guides, participant workbooks, executive presentations, playbooks, job aids, case studies, and learning journeys.
  • Develop storyboards and design documentation for eLearning modules.
  • Ensure learning content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with pharmaceutical regulatory guardrails.
  • Navigate medical, legal, and regulatory review cycles and revise materials based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with clear documentation, timelines, and version control.
  • Collaborate with consultants, subject matter experts, and client leads to extract and refine content.
  • Contribute to internal process improvement and learning innovation initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of instructional design experience, with significant experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences environments.
  • Agency or consulting-side experience supporting pharmaceutical clients strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into structured learning strategies.
  • Proven ability to independently lead client calls and facilitate needs analysis discussions.
  • Experience supporting commercial, medical affairs, or executive-level audiences.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory, performance consulting, and behavior-change principles.
  • Experience working within regulated environments and medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise.
  • Strong PowerPoint design expertise, including executive-ready formatting, and experience with LMS platforms and SCORM packaging.
  • Familiarity with multimedia editing tools and digital asset development.
  • Strong document management and version control discipline.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, client-facing environments with evolving priorities and tight timelines.
