Description

  • Complete AI training tasks such as analyzing, editing, and writing annotations grounded in legal reasoning and professional practice.
  • Judge and evaluate AI performance on legal tasks, including issue spotting, contract clause interpretation, legal research summarization, and argument evaluation.
  • Provide expert feedback to improve AI models’ accuracy, clarity, and quality of legal reasoning.
  • Perform quality-related tasks such as evals, trust & safety checks, and red teaming as required by specific projects.
  • Maintain focused, uninterrupted work sessions for tasks that may require up to one hour.
  • Submit annotations and evaluation results via the Prolific platform and follow project instructions and guidelines.
  • Participate in platform-based paid studies as a Prolific participant and manage task intake and completion schedules.

Requirements

  • Verifiable professional experience as a qualified lawyer (e.g., practicing solicitor/attorney, barrister, in-house counsel, or experienced paralegal).
  • Willingness to take a 10– to 15-minute skills verification test to assess suitability for the participant pool.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to concentrate on complex tasks for up to one hour at a time.
  • Reliable, fast internet connection and access to a computer.
  • Willingness and ability to self-declare earnings (participants are self-employed).
  • A PayPal account to receive payments from clients.
  • Availability to complete paid tasks that may require one hour of uninterrupted work, though many tasks are shorter.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to work in legal domains (contracts, litigation, regulatory, employment, privacy, IP, corporate) and related AI training areas such as evals, red teaming, trust & safety, and quality analytics (preferred).
