Description

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota for the assigned territory.
  • Develop territory-specific sales plans with the sales manager and execute tactical and strategic activities to achieve objectives.
  • Manage the complex sales process to introduce and sell the AquaBeam System into new and existing hospitals, including greenfield accounts.
  • Build clinical and administrative support through technical presentations, executive meetings, marketing events, and direct engagement with surgeons and hospital administrators.
  • Identify key institutions, generate market awareness, and drive system adoption and procedural volume within the territory.
  • Manage handoff of initial sale and installation to the Aquablation sales team to ensure procedural uptake and long-term growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with CEOs, senior hospital administrators, key customers, and KOLs, and effectively communicate the AquaBeam value proposition.
  • Provide monthly forecasts, maintain accurate CRM records, complete required sales reporting on time, and manage travel and expenses within budget.
  • Partner with Sales Management, Marketing, and Customer Service to prioritize customers, support post-sale expectations, and resolve product complaints or safety issues.
  • Maintain required hospital credentials and trained status under PROCEPT’s Quality Management System and comply with applicable policies and FDA-related regulations (including Sunshine Act requirements).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of medical and capital sales experience within the Operating Room environment.
  • Experience selling disruptive surgical technology and prior start-up company experience (preferred).
  • Strong local relationships within the healthcare community in the specified geographic area in Japan.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through past professional performance, extracurricular involvement, or associations.
  • Ability to travel 60–70% within Japan.
  • Robotics experience.
  • Ability to establish and maintain hospital credentials and comply with quality, safety, and regulatory policies.
