Description

  • Design and implement complex software programs and framework components independently and as part of a team.
  • Serve as technical lead on development projects and provide development strategy for client programs.
  • Plan and coordinate the tasks required for software development and implementation.
  • Create conceptual designs and write technical specifications based on business requirements.
  • Evaluate new technologies and guide the team on proofs of concept and innovation efforts.
  • Recommend technologies and solutions that improve the user experience.
  • Work on application integration with third-party systems.
  • Identify security issues, propose corrective action plans, and escalate program risks and issues to leadership.
  • Participate in design sessions, analyze user needs, and collaborate with Business Analysis to finalize technical solutions.
  • Develop process flows, screen designs, storyboards, implementation checklists, and effort estimates; also perform peer reviews and code reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with the software testing life cycle (STLC) preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to read, understand, and adhere to corporate policies, including HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.
