Description

  • Design highly scalable, mission-critical brokerage systems.
  • Develop middle- and back-office systems, including gRPC microservices, React-based administration interfaces, and vendor integrations.
  • Enhance core frameworks to support multiple languages, currencies, and markets.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and cross-functional teams across global regions.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and bugs to maintain system integrity and performance.
  • Serve as regional operational reliability lead and incident commander during business hours.
  • Support regional recruitment, mentor engineers, and promote engineering practices and culture.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and engineering initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Proficiency in Go or similar backend languages and robust system architecture design.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals and software engineering architecture experience.
  • Experience with event-driven design.
  • Ability to lead incident response and troubleshoot issues authoritatively.
  • Strong communication skills for working with global teams, regulators, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote, globally distributed, fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate technical concepts into business strategies.
  • Experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex is preferred.
  • Experience with financial systems, online trading platforms, brokerage infrastructure, or fintech is preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial transaction processing, trade lifecycles, settlement, market data, and regulatory compliance is preferred.
  • Experience designing high-availability, multi-currency financial applications and double-entry accounting systems is preferred.
