Description

Administer and maintain client network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
Manage Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms such as VMWare and Hyper-V across on-premises and cloud deployments.
Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments, including user administration and group policy management.
Implement and maintain firewall and VPN solutions to provide secure remote access and protect client data.
Monitor, configure, and manage security controls such as intrusion detection/prevention, firewalls, anti-virus, vulnerability scans, and patching.
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for system, network, and application issues.
Use remote management tools to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and minimize client disruption.
Administer VMWare environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual servers.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver IT solutions and support.
Maintain documentation, track work in ticketing systems, and provide performance and security reports to management and clients.

Requirements

3-4 years of experience as a System and Network Administrator.
3-4 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure.
Experience with firewall technologies and VPN solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, and Fortinet.
Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMWare and Hyper-V.
Experience with remote access tools, monitoring platforms, and ticketing systems such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, and ServiceNow.
Knowledge of Windows Server 2008-2022 and network/data center technologies.
Certification in a relevant area such as Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, VCP).
