Description

  • Administer and maintain client network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
  • Manage Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms such as VMWare and Hyper-V across on-premises and cloud deployments.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments, including user administration and group policy management.
  • Implement and maintain firewall and VPN solutions to provide secure remote access and protect client data.
  • Monitor, configure, and manage security controls such as intrusion detection/prevention, firewalls, anti-virus, vulnerability scans, and patching.
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for system, network, and application issues.
  • Use remote management tools to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and minimize client disruption.
  • Administer VMWare environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual servers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver IT solutions and support.
  • Maintain documentation, track work in ticketing systems, and provide performance and security reports to management and clients.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience as a System and Network Administrator.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure.
  • Experience with firewall technologies and VPN solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, and Fortinet.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMWare and Hyper-V.
  • Experience with remote access tools, monitoring platforms, and ticketing systems such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, and ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008-2022 and network/data center technologies.
  • Certification in a relevant area such as Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, VCP).
