Description

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT systems including servers, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure.
Ensure system performance, availability, and security across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and consolidations.
Monitor system health, performance, and capacity, and proactively resolve issues.
Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
Implement and enforce security policies, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
Provide expert-level support for complex technical issues across systems, networks, and applications.
Guide and mentor junior administrators and IT support staff.
Serve as the escalation point for critical incidents and outages.
Collaborate with IT leadership and cross-functional teams on system upgrades, cloud integrations, and enterprise projects.

Requirements

7–10+ years of experience in system administration with advanced experience in enterprise environments.
Top Secret clearance.
DoD 8140 certification required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Advanced expertise in Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and hybrid IT environments.
Knowledge of networking, firewalls, storage solutions, and virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and cloud migration strategies.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
Strong understanding of security principles, identity/access management, and compliance standards.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
