Description

  • Assist in executing IT projects, including hardware and software implementations, network upgrades, and system migrations.
  • Stage and deploy technology such as desktops, laptops, POS systems, server hardware, and networking equipment.
  • Install hardware at customer sites and support software installations, including hypervisors and operating systems.
  • Migrate and support customer-specific applications during project implementations.
  • Work with project managers to define tasks, timelines, and completion targets.
  • Provide clients with updates, manage expectations, and offer technical support throughout project work.
  • Accurately record time entries against tickets and tasks using the company’s ticketing system.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, configurations, and support materials.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, sales, support, and other internal teams to coordinate project delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational success.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Server, including Group Policy, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Understanding of server hardware, including RAID and iDRAC technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, including wireless, wired networks, switches, and firewalls.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and services.
  • Basic knowledge of backup concepts and how backups work.
  • Experience with Azure cloud technologies and virtualization platforms, including VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with backup platforms such as Veeam and Datto is a bonus.
  • Experience with ticketing systems is a bonus.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to participate in a rotating on-call program.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor and communicate effectively with non-technical clients.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, manage competing demands, and work under pressure.
