Description

  • Manage a portfolio of residential and commercial accounts, including high-value and multi-location accounts, to recover outstanding balances and minimize delinquencies.
  • Use negotiation and persuasion to secure payment commitments while preserving professional customer relationships.
  • De-escalate difficult customer situations through active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
  • Use Salesforce, Zuora, Nexamp Portal, and other systems to research issues and resolve account problems efficiently.
  • Accurately document, track, and update collections activities to maintain compliance and process accuracy.
  • Perform skip tracing to locate hard-to-reach customers using investigative tools and strategies.
  • Handle outbound calls, inbound inquiries, customer emails, Salesforce cases, and follow-ups to ensure timely resolution.
  • Explain community solar benefits and savings to support customer retention and encourage continued engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and other departments to ensure cases are managed appropriately and best practices are shared.
  • Meet or exceed departmental KPIs, including dollars collected and call volume targets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional collections experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of billing and collections procedures.
  • Experience with skip tracing tools and investigative techniques.
  • Salesforce or a similar CRM system experience required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, typing, and computer navigation.
  • Excellent attention to detail in client-facing communication.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Self-motivated, self-starting, and self-assured.
  • Availability to work US EST/CST business hours, 8 AM to 5 PM.
