Description

  • Administer and maintain dental fee schedules across practices, payers, plans, networks, and procedure codes.
  • Research, validate, document, and implement fee schedule corrections in the practice management system.
  • Audit fee schedules against contracts, payer documentation, historical adjudication, claims, EOBs, and ERAs.
  • Investigate reimbursement discrepancies and distinguish fee schedule issues from payer mapping, plan configuration, downgrades, and alternate benefits.
  • Analyze systemic impacts across offices, payers, plans, and procedure codes rather than addressing only individual claims.
  • Collaborate with RCM, Payer Relations, Credentialing, Operations, and other teams to validate reimbursement information.
  • Develop proactive auditing, monitoring, and control processes to identify recurring variances and prevent revenue leakage.
  • Perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and report financial impact and recovery opportunities.
  • Support fee schedule configuration for acquisitions, payer changes, new contracts, and organizational growth.
  • Serve as an internal subject-matter resource and support additional RCM projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience administering dental fee schedules in a dental practice management system.
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance reimbursement, PPO fee schedules, contracted allowances, downgrades, alternate benefits, and payer adjudication.
  • Experience researching discrepancies using contracts, fee schedules, EOBs/ERAs, claims, and system data.
  • Denticon experience strongly preferred; significant dental reimbursement expertise and ability to learn complex systems will also be considered.
  • Ability to independently investigate unfamiliar issues, identify root causes, and implement accurate solutions.
  • Ability to manage high-volume data with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, prioritization, and analytical skills.
  • Strong Excel skills, including organizing, reconciling, filtering, and analyzing reimbursement data.
  • Ability to collaborate across RCM, Payer Relations, Credentialing, and Operations.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
