Description

  • Configure and update client-facing applications according to engagement team requirements and MLR guidelines.
  • Represent the Application Operations / Development team on active projects and participate in daily stand-up meetings.
  • Follow established change management procedures for application updates.
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures for application operations and development.
  • Create wiki articles for repeatable common processes.
  • Coordinate software releases with the Application Development Team for UAT and production environments.
  • Set up environments for new implementations.
  • Configure Single Sign-On integrations for client builds.
  • Support development of product unit tests for future regression testing.
  • Measure and track application development KPIs such as bug density, sprint analysis, and test coverage.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage issue resolution or escalation.
  • Collaborate with product, infrastructure support, users, vendors, and analysts on application changes and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology/engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a related field, working as an application engineer, developer, or support engineer (level 1/2).
  • Strong grasp of Git fundamentals with day-to-day usage experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Windows, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with Agile development lifecycle.
  • Experience in web application configuration and templating.
  • Operational knowledge of Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, and Octopus.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience with Veeva or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of US healthcare or market access is an advantage.
  • Experience with Azure hosting components.
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally, including overnight stays, up to 5%.
  • Preferred experience with Azure DevOps or another CI/CD pipeline tool.
  • Preferred knowledge of React, Angular, and .NetCore.
  • Preferred working knowledge of EHR systems such as Epic and Cerner.
  • Preferred familiarity with healthcare standards such as HL7 and SMART on FHIR.
  • Preferred experience with scalable enterprise application design.
  • Preferred experience with workflow engines and message queue platforms.
  • Preferred experience in web application development.
