Description

  • Collaborate across a broad portfolio of evidence synthesis projects within a multi-level team structure.
  • Develop client-ready deliverables such as study protocols, statistical analysis plans, technical reports, and slides.
  • Handle day-to-day client communications, including reviewing updates, minutes, and actions for studies.
  • Delegate and oversee work completed by junior researchers and provide mentorship and direction.
  • Manage components of projects by coordinating with other staff to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Support timely delivery and financial performance by estimating hours, identifying issues early, and communicating changes and solutions.
  • Lead client calls and respond to client emails while involving senior methodological or subject matter experts when appropriate.
  • Contribute to short-term resourcing discussions, proposal development, and presentations.
  • Participate in new business meetings and concept ideation under guidance from senior team members.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a health services research-related field such as health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or a science discipline such as biology or biochemistry.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in systematic literature reviews and/or indirect treatment comparisons such as NMA, MAIC, or STC.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs, and health technology assessment requirements.
  • Ability to oversee systematic literature reviews in clinical, economic, and/or health-related quality of life areas and/or quantitative evidence synthesis studies.
  • Ability to identify evidence synthesis considerations and communicate them in deliverables such as feasibility assessments and statistical analysis plans.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EndNote.
  • Proficiency in R/R Shiny is advantageous.
  • Willingness and desire to learn and share knowledge.
