Description

  • Manage assigned projects, including delivery timelines, scope, budgets, forecasting, and resource requirements.
  • Design, build, maintain, test, and validate clinical databases, applications, and third-party integrations.
  • Provide database administration, advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Support data management activities from CRF design through database close and archival.
  • Develop and maintain study-specific validation documentation, SOPs, and process documentation.
  • Lead operational study and programming teams and provide training to end users, junior staff, and data management team members.
  • Collaborate with clients, sponsors, vendors, project managers, data management teams, and EDC providers to gather requirements and communicate status.
  • Conduct EDC demonstrations, software trainings, project presentations, and vendor selection activities.
  • Ensure activities comply with SOPs, regulatory requirements, government guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Support onboarding and cross-functional or organization-wide initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Strong clinical database programming and clinical database management system development experience.
  • Strong experience with Rave and Veeva, plus proficiency in more than one CDMS.
  • Experience building forms, edit checks, complex rules, and maintaining CRF standards libraries.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, C++, or VBS.
  • Understanding of CDISC standards, including CDASH, SDTM, and ADaM.
  • Strong oncology experience; autoimmune disease experience preferred.
  • Experience in a clinical, scientific, or healthcare discipline and across multiple therapeutic areas preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, prioritization, interpersonal, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, create project plans, and collaborate effectively with minimal direction.
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English; willingness to travel occasionally.
