Description

  • Manage site start-up processes and develop activation readiness strategies.
  • Coordinate critical-path planning for regulatory submissions, ICF customization, IMP release, risk mitigation, and contract execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and clients to align milestones, expectations, reporting, and delivery goals.
  • Identify start-up risks and develop mitigation plans to protect activation timelines.
  • Maintain accurate real-time tracking systems and provide progress metrics at study, country, and site levels.
  • Coordinate document translations and oversee collection of site-level start-up and IMP release information.
  • Communicate status and deliverables with feasibility, clinical operations, project management, regulatory, and contracts teams.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, support country- or site-level start-up activities, and mentor less-experienced staff.
  • Develop country-specific start-up summaries, process flows, training sessions, and proposal materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field, Registered Nurse qualification, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • At least 5 years of site start-up experience, preferably as a Start Up Lead or Project Manager in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing project milestones, resources, budgets, and team activities.
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional activities.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, ICH guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Fluency in English and the local language of the country where based.
  • Experience with computerized information systems, spreadsheets, word processing, email, and milestone-tracking tools.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, prioritization, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail; occasional travel may be required.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences or a related field preferred.
