Description

  • Manage site start-up processes and develop activation-readiness strategies.
  • Coordinate critical-path planning for regulatory submissions, ICF customization, IMP release, risk mitigation, and contract execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and clients on milestones, delivery expectations, reporting, metrics, and risks.
  • Oversee tracking systems and data to monitor progress against study, country, and site timelines.
  • Coordinate translations and maintain communication with feasibility, clinical operations, regulatory, project management, and contracts teams.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for site-level start-up and IMP release requirements.
  • Support country start-up summaries, process flows, training sessions, and staff mentoring.
  • Provide direct country or site start-up support and participate in proposal activities when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field, Registered Nurse qualification, or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of site start-up experience, ideally as a Start-Up Lead or Project Manager in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing project milestones, resources, budgets, and team activities.
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional activities.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, ICH guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with computerized information systems, spreadsheets, word processing, email, and milestone-tracking tools.
  • Fluency in English and the local language of the country where based.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, interpersonal, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail; occasional travel may be required.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences or a related field is preferred.
