Description

  • Manage site start-up processes and develop activation readiness strategies.
  • Coordinate critical-path planning for regulatory submissions, ICF customization, IMP release, contracts, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with clients, functional leaders, and cross-functional teams to align milestones and delivery goals.
  • Monitor tracking systems and provide progress metrics at study, country, and site levels.
  • Coordinate document translations and maintain site start-up status across key functions.
  • Oversee critical-path data, including ethics timelines, contracts, budgets, and activation requirements.
  • Support country start-up summaries, process flows, training sessions, and knowledge sharing.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor staff on local regulations, submissions, procedures, and start-up activities.
  • Support country- or site-level start-up activities and participate in proposals and client presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field, Registered Nurse qualification, or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of site start-up experience, preferably as a Start Up Lead or Project Manager in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing project milestones, resources, budgets, and team activities.
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional activities.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, ICH guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Fluency in English and the local language of the country where based.
  • Experience with computerized information systems, spreadsheets, word processing, email, and milestone-tracking tools.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, time-management, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail; occasional travel may be required.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences or a related field preferred.
