Description

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the clinical system and support end-user requests.
  • Collaborate with Clinical functions to update and add templates within the clinical systems.
  • Manage help desk ticket assignment to Clinical Systems Administrators.
  • Create and maintain clinical system processes and procedures.
  • Oversee integrations between the clinical system and the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system.
  • Perform archival steps within the clinical system as requested.
  • Support configuration updates for templates, reports, dashboards, and milestones.
  • Assist with new version releases, configuration changes, testing, validation oversight, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Manage ongoing end-user reviews and provide support to study teams, sponsor staff, and site staff.
  • Participate in inspection and audit preparation and assist with CAPA plan development and execution when needed.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience, ideally in a business, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience with clinical systems.
  • Experience with clinical trial systems such as CTMS, EDC, eTMF, and RTMS.
  • Detailed understanding of requirements gathering, documentation, configuration, and integrations.
  • Prior experience in a Clinical Operations role handling clinical systems is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate business needs effectively to IT technology partners is preferred.
  • Ability to resolve issues independently and escalate appropriately using good judgment.
  • Ability to learn new systems and integration requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
