Description

  • Serve as the primary client liaison, supporting proposals, presentations, and bid defenses.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and closeout of complex clinical trials or study portfolios.
  • Direct project managers and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage study budgets, scope, change orders, profitability, billing, and forecasting.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and change management plans.
  • Ensure quality management, eTMF inspection readiness, issue resolution, and corrective actions.
  • Track project metrics and provide status updates, KPIs, risks, and recommendations to clients and senior leadership.
  • Lead internal and client meetings, establish expectations, and drive study-level strategy.
  • Ensure study-specific training, compliance, performance management, and team development.
  • Mentor project management staff and contribute to SOP updates and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent education and experience in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years of clinical research experience and 5 years of direct project management experience, or demonstrated equivalent competencies.
  • Experience managing highly complex global studies or portfolios of studies.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device research.
  • Mastery of ICH-GCP and applicable clinical research SOPs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, CTMS, and project management software.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, change management, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, conflict management, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, lead teams, motivate others, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
