Description

  • Serve as the primary client liaison and support proposals, presentations, and bid defenses.
  • Oversee global clinical trials or study portfolios from initiation through closeout.
  • Direct project managers and cross-functional teams throughout study planning and execution.
  • Manage study budgets, scope, change orders, profitability, billing, and forecasting.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and change-management approaches.
  • Ensure quality management, eTMF inspection readiness, issue resolution, and corrective actions.
  • Track study metrics and provide status updates, KPIs, recommendations, and presentations to clients and senior leadership.
  • Lead internal and client meetings, establish expectations, and drive study-level strategy.
  • Ensure study-specific training, compliance, team performance, and operational corrective actions.
  • Mentor project managers, contribute to SOP development, provide performance feedback, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent education and experience in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years of clinical research experience, including at least 5 years of direct project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex global studies or portfolios of studies.
  • Highly experienced in pharmaceutical and/or medical device research.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, CTMS, and project management software.
  • Mastery of ICH-GCP and applicable SOPs.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, change management, and cross-functional management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, analytical, negotiation, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, work independently, manage conflicts, and maintain high ethical standards.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
