Description

  • Manage all programming aspects of assigned clinical databases and applications from study start to post-database lock.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and communicate project status to internal teams and study stakeholders.
  • Forecast hours, identify resource needs, and manage budgets including out-of-scope and post-production changes.
  • Guide the design, build, testing, validation, implementation, maintenance, and support of clinical databases.
  • Develop, test, and validate programs and clinical databases for client-related projects and third-party applications.
  • Provide system administration and advanced technical support for internally developed applications and clinical databases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and database issues.
  • Maintain study-specific validation documents and support data management from CRF design through database close and archival.
  • Participate in vendor selection, EDC demonstrations, trainings, SOP development, and process documentation.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, train team members and end users, and support onboarding of new hires.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of related experience.
  • Strong experience in oncology; experience with autoimmune diseases is a strong advantage.
  • Strong experience with Rave and Veeva.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming such as C#, C++, or VBS.
  • Understanding of CDISC standards such as CDASH, SDTM, and ADaM.
  • Proficiency in more than one CDMS system, including building forms, edit checks, and complex rule development.
  • Experience in clinical database management system development.
  • Experience in a clinical, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Professional written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively is preferred.
  • Experience across multiple therapeutic areas is preferred.
  • Experience with various database programming systems is preferred.
  • Customer service orientation and client relationship management experience is preferred.
