Description

  • Collaborate with health economists, statisticians, and researchers on innovative evidence synthesis and decision modeling projects.
  • Develop cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact analyses, early economic analyses, treatment sequencing analyses, and generalized cost-effectiveness analyses.
  • Perform targeted literature reviews to identify and summarize model inputs and methodologies from prior health technology assessments.
  • Conceptualize and support the design of cost-effectiveness and budget impact models with senior leads.
  • Program, parameterize, and validate economic models, primarily in Microsoft Excel.
  • Conduct analyses, interpret findings, and communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables including model protocols, economic models, slide decks, technical reports, and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Perform quality checks on your own work and review the work of others.
  • Support project delivery by tracking hours, flagging changes to estimates, and helping ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Assist with client management by preparing meeting materials, drafting minutes, summarizing action items, and responding to client emails as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of professional experience, ideally consulting experience serving pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare clients with a focus on HEOR.
  • Master’s degree in health economics, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, public policy, or a related science field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Highly developed analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
  • Willingness and desire to learn and share knowledge.
  • PhD in a related health services research field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in R or R Shiny is advantageous.
  • Track record of relevant peer-reviewed publications is preferred.
