Description

  • Manage and support a team of 4-5 AR Specialists.
  • Assign and balance workload across the AR team.
  • Guide the team on collections strategies and difficult payment cases.
  • Monitor aging reports and identify overdue balances proactively.
  • Ensure consistent follow-up with retailers on unpaid invoices.
  • Support resolution of payment issues and disputes with retailers.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of outstanding balances and account activity.
  • Document updates in AR systems and provide progress reporting.
  • Communicate AR status, trends, and payment discrepancies to the client when needed.
  • Provide regular updates to the AR Manager and escalate risks, issues, and workload concerns early.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.
  • Prior experience supporting or guiding teammates is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of AR processes, aging reports, and collections workflows.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Confidence in handling challenging payment conversations.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate disputes.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Clear, professional communication skills.
  • Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience with retail clients or high-volume AR environments is preferred.
  • Exposure to process improvements or scaling operations is preferred.
  • Working hours of 9am–5pm EST, with afternoon/evening hours for candidates in Europe.
