Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that support cross-functional data needs.
  • Build, deploy, and optimize analytical dashboards and reporting tools for strategic decision-making.
  • Write well-structured, testable code in Python, R, and SQL to support analytics workflows.
  • Lead version control, documentation, and coding standards best practices.
  • Partner with data scientists to move analytics products from prototype to production.
  • Identify and integrate AI-driven tools to improve data processing and reporting capabilities.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across data science and business teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of post-internship hands-on experience in a data engineering, analytics engineering, or data science role in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, with experience operationalizing analytics at scale.
  • Strong experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Experience designing data architecture and maintaining complex pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and other cloud platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience applying AI to streamline or augment data workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience working with patient-level data or in regulated environments such as HIPAA, GxP, or FDA is preferred.
  • Comfort with regular computer and screen work, basic hand coordination, clear communication, and occasional movement; reasonable accommodations may be made.

  • Annualized base salary of $145,000 to $165,000 USD.
