Description

  • Lead automated, API, accessibility, and mobile testing for complex applications.
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end test frameworks and identify edge cases and delivery risks.
  • Ensure acceptance criteria are clear, prioritize testing efforts, and support sprint commitments.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve reporting, parallel execution, and environment management.
  • Document testing plans, risks, blockers, metrics, and best practices.
  • Mentor QA and development team members through collaboration and code reviews.
  • Present testing insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in recruiting interviews and evaluate technical candidates.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of professional experience in relevant technology and software projects.
  • Strong QA fundamentals and experience leading automated testing across the software development lifecycle.
  • Deep experience with Playwright, Cypress, and/or Selenium using TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with Appium using Java or Python for iOS and Android testing.
  • Strong CI/CD automation experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Experience presenting technical and business value to client stakeholders.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring peers through collaboration and structured code reviews.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, intensive technical program, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work remotely from El Salvador, Mexico, or Colombia and align with Praxent’s values.
