Description

  • Define Practice Better’s brand positioning, voice, and identity framework.
  • Lead messaging architecture to ensure consistent communication across prospective and existing customers.
  • Conduct competitive brand audits and identify opportunities for differentiated market positioning.
  • Own content strategy, including themes, narratives, and a year-round content calendar across channels and formats.
  • Create content that supports both brand awareness and performance goals, including pipeline and PLG conversion.
  • Design and run measurable brand programs tied to commercial outcomes.
  • Develop community activation programs that turn customers into brand advocates and amplify practitioner stories.
  • Plan and execute events, webinars, and co-marketing campaigns that build credibility and drive traffic and pipeline.
  • Build thought leadership and brand social programs that position the company and its people as authoritative voices.
  • Develop PR and earned media relationships, pitch stories directly, and scale coverage without an agency.
  • Own the brand measurement framework and define KPIs for the function.
  • Use data, lift experiments, and incrementality tests to evaluate and optimize brand programs.
  • Collaborate closely with Performance and Lifecycle Marketing to align initiatives and maximize shared outcomes.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of brand and content marketing experience, including at least 2+ years in a people-manager role.
  • Proven experience at a SaaS company in the $25M–$100M ARR range, ideally with 75–200 employees.
  • Experience in health, wellness, or health-adjacent tech is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build brand positioning and content strategy from near-scratch.
  • Experience shipping programs that moved commercial metrics.
  • Experience running PR and earned media without an agency.
  • Ability to set strategy and also execute hands-on content work.
  • Experience managing people as a player-coach and leading by example.
  • Data literacy and comfort building a case for brand investment without complete proof.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence without authority.
  • Canadian-based candidates only; preference for applicants legally authorized to work in Canada.
