Description

  • Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.
  • Translate visual designs into responsive, cross-browser web experiences using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Integrate external APIs into new and existing websites.
  • Test and debug websites to ensure performance, security, and accessibility standards are met.
  • Implement technical SEO best practices to support organic performance.
  • Use Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem as it relates to the role and department.
  • Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes.
  • Maintain documentation of changes.
  • Participate in standups and code reviews.
  • Complete assigned sprint items and support other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of web development experience with a strong focus on WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Solid understanding of responsive design, web standards, and accessibility.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with server administration and hosting environments.
  • Advanced spoken and written English is required.
  • Experience with healthcare websites or HIPAA encryption standards is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Webflow, Drupal, React, Angular, Twig, or Node is a plus.
