Description

  • Develop and maintain web-based IT systems and applications for outsourced projects.
  • Build front-end features using React and TypeScript, with supporting JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Work on modern multi-tier application development and integration in enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate on modeling and business-process analysis using tools such as UML or BPMN.
  • Follow a software development methodology such as Agile/Scrum or RUP within the delivery process.
  • Use relational databases and Git-based version control in day-to-day development work.
  • Participate in CI/CD workflows and support automated delivery processes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including semantic or data-focused specialists when needed.
  • Contribute to data-intensive, cloud-hosted, or knowledge-graph-backed application projects.
  • Support end-user workflows and issue resolution when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience developing IT systems, including web, database, or application solutions.
  • Strong, demonstrable front-end engineering experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Working knowledge of modern web and multi-tier application development.
  • Experience with UML, BPMN, or an equivalent modeling or business-process analysis tool.
  • Working knowledge of a software development methodology such as Agile/Scrum or RUP.
  • Familiarity with relational databases.
  • Comfort with Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows; GitLab CI is an advantage.
  • Good command of English.
  • Experience with Angular or other modern front-end frameworks alongside React is preferred.
  • Experience on data-intensive or knowledge-graph-backed applications is preferred.
  • Exposure to AWS cloud services and cloud-hosted application environments is preferred.
  • UI/UX design sensibility, including wireframing, prototyping, accessibility, and responsive/mobile-first design, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with semantic-web concepts such as RDF, SPARQL, GraphDB, or other triplestores is preferred.
  • Experience with Python is preferred.
  • Awareness of GDPR-compliant data handling, including anonymisation and audit logs, is preferred.
  • Experience with end-user support or ticketing workflows is preferred.
  • French or German at B2+ is preferred.
