Description

  • Own ML and AI solutions end to end, from problem framing and model development through deployment, monitoring, and iteration in production.
  • Own selected products and contribute to others, balancing business impact, cost, scalability, and model performance.
  • Partner with Data, Engineering, Product, and customer-facing teams to turn ambiguous business needs into shipped features.
  • Build, test, deploy, and monitor real-time prediction models and ML algorithms for shipment visibility, ETA prediction, demand forecasting, and freight audit.
  • Apply MLOps practices, including version control, performance tracking, and production monitoring.
  • Perform feature engineering, model tuning, and validation to prepare models for production.
  • Productionize LLM-based systems, managing prompts and model behavior as engineered, versioned, and monitored artifacts.
  • Re-scope work and make pragmatic technical decisions as product priorities and specifications evolve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and scaling machine learning models in production.
  • Experience owning the full ML lifecycle, from R&D through production deployment and MLOps.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with large datasets and big-data technologies such as Spark and Kafka.
  • Experience with real-time data processing, anomaly detection, and time-series forecasting in production.
  • Hands-on experience productionizing LLM-based systems; experience with AI agents, multi-step workflows, tool/function calling, retrieval, and context design is preferred.
  • Experience in a lean product startup environment with ambiguous requirements and limited baseline data.
  • Logistics technology or supply-chain technology experience, particularly in freight forwarding, is strongly preferred.
