Description

  • Own documentation, reporting, and root-cause analysis of prediction issues end to end.
  • Analyze ingested and system-generated data for anomalies, gaps, and data quality issues.
  • Trace anomalies to their source and help fix underlying processes so issues do not recur.
  • Turn data findings into actionable stories, propose fixes, and own follow-through on execution.
  • Automate performance and accuracy review processes, report generation, and data visualization using Python and SQL.
  • Support Engineering and Data Science with system-level data fixes and improvements to prediction inputs and features.
  • Provide insights to Customer Operations and Marketing on performance, accuracy, and real-time event impact.
  • Maintain internal and customer dashboards for prediction accuracy, timeliness, coverage, and explainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role, preferably in a product-based startup environment.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills with a demonstrated ability to write reusable and highly scalable code.
  • Experience turning messy data into clear visualizations and spotting anomalies proactively.
  • Ability to think from first principles and explain decisions, trade-offs, and constraints clearly.
  • Curious, proactive approach to investigation, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude or Copilot for QA, automation, and analysis, with careful validation of outputs.
  • Strong communication skills for written and real-time collaboration, including handling nuanced discussions and compromise.
  • Experience working in a diverse, dynamic, cross-cultural team with strong ownership and a data-driven mindset.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms (good to have).
