Description

  • Provide level 2/3 engineering support for network security solutions including segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, WAF, NDR, NAC, and policy management platforms.
  • Manage advanced Palo Alto firewall configurations locally and globally using Prisma Access SASE.
  • Configure and maintain deployed network security platforms, ensuring they are current and aligned with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to secure integrations with AWS, Azure, and GCP using access controls, encryption, and network segmentation.
  • Develop and maintain network segmentation policies, including zero trust architecture and micro segmentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, perform penetration testing, and recommend remediation plans.
  • Develop training materials and deliver training sessions on network security best practices and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR through policies, procedures, and audits.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of network security experience in financial services or another highly regulated environment.
  • Hands-on experience with networking, Palo Alto firewalls, User-ID, App-ID, IDS/IPS, WAF, DDoS, NAC, and related security tools.
  • Knowledge of network segmentation, micro segmentation, and zero trust architecture using tools such as Illumio, Guardicore, VMware NSX/NSX-T, vArmour, Cisco ACI, ShieldX, Unisys Stealth, and/or Zero Networks.
  • Experience with SASE and CASB architectures using tools such as Prisma Access, zScaler, and/or NetSkope.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Experience configuring and managing NDR platforms such as Darktrace, ExtraHop, and/or Vectra.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCNA/CCNP Routing & Switching, Palo Alto Networks Security certifications (PCSNE), Security+, and/or CCNA Security.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering and application development teams to align security requirements and influence decision-making.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
