Description

  • Analyze defaulted Home Equity Investments and develop strategic loss mitigation and recovery solutions.
  • Manage bankruptcy, foreclosure, and other default servicing processes end to end.
  • Communicate and collaborate with customers, investors, attorneys, and subservicers to resolve servicing issues.
  • Oversee subservicer and foreclosure firm performance to ensure timely and compliant handling of cases.
  • Conduct audits, call listening, and other oversight activities to verify servicing quality and standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory and servicing compliance requirements.
  • Resolve escalated servicing requests and support inbound and outbound customer inquiries.
  • Train and coach team members on new policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Help develop and refine servicing policies, procedures, and operational workflows.
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams on servicing system and workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mortgage, HELOC, or Home Equity Investment servicing, with a focus on default management and loss mitigation.
  • Deep technical knowledge of foreclosure navigation from default through final sale/bid.
  • Experience interpreting title reports and resolving complex lien issues.
  • Proven experience conducting subservicer audits and call monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and build effective loss mitigation plans.
  • Experience managing relationships with investors, attorneys, and subservicers.
  • Experience coaching team members and transferring technical knowledge to others.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) required.
  • Remote candidates must reside in one of Point’s states of operation: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NH, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI.
