Description

  • Lead and mentor two engineering teams focused on AI-driven workflow automation and operational efficiency.
  • Define and execute the technical strategy for workflow optimization and scalable automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Operations to identify and implement AI-powered improvements.
  • Ensure high-quality execution by balancing speed, technical excellence, and business impact.
  • Scale and improve engineering processes, including automation, observability, and system reliability best practices.
  • Foster an engineering culture centered on ownership, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Track and measure the impact of automation efforts using data-driven methods.
  • Hire and develop top talent and keep teams engaged and aligned with company goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in engineering management leading multiple teams.
  • Experience scaling engineering teams and delivering high-impact projects with measurable business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and Operations.
  • Deep technical acumen in backend systems, AI/ML applications, or workflow orchestration.
  • Coding experience is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Must reside in one of Point’s approved U.S. states of operation.
  • Experience in a senior engineering leadership role is not required, as this role is positioned below Sr. Engineering Manager or Director level.
