Description

  • Architect and scale native iOS and Android applications to support agentic workflows, multi-turn conversations, and real-time AI interactions.
  • Lead the implementation of mobile AI capabilities, including low-latency streaming, multi-modal inputs, and client-side agent state management.
  • Own the end-to-end mobile development lifecycle from architectural planning through deployment and production reliability.
  • Optimize CI/CD processes on AWS to improve delivery speed and mobile release quality.
  • Prototype and iterate on complex mobile challenges such as offline syncing of agent states and high-volume data pipelines.
  • Serve as a technical anchor for mobile engineering decisions across Podium.
  • Provide thoughtful code reviews and mentor engineers at all levels to strengthen mobile and AI craftsmanship.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a deep focus on native mobile development.
  • Proven expertise in Swift and/or Kotlin, with the expectation of working across both iOS and Android.
  • Track record of leading multi-quarter projects, defining requirements, and driving technical strategy for a mobile organization.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile design patterns, threading, and memory management for long-running asynchronous tasks.
  • Familiarity with backend and frontend technologies including Python, Elixir, React, and TypeScript (preferred).
  • Experience with GraphQL for efficient mobile data fetching and real-time subscriptions (preferred).
  • Experience with modern agent frameworks or multi-step reasoning and orchestration patterns on mobile devices (preferred).
  • A collaborative approach to mentoring new team members and helping build a disciplined engineering culture (preferred).
