Description

  • Build workflows, operating rhythms, templates, and playbooks for editorial, social, production, and commercial initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Content and Revenue/Client Strategy, translating commercial priorities into executable content plans.
  • Coordinate with marketing, product, and design on major initiatives and tentpole events.
  • Manage cross-functional meetings, agendas, action items, ownership, and timelines.
  • Assess editorial priorities, budgets, production timelines, resource needs, and team capacity.
  • Support flagship initiatives such as Game of the Week and Flag Football Showdown, including post-event reporting and retrospectives.
  • Develop budgets and production timelines for partner-driven content executions and advocate for appropriate resources.
  • Identify opportunities to adapt high-performing organic content for brand partnerships while protecting audience trust and editorial integrity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in content operations, integrated marketing, brand partnerships, or a related role connecting editorial or creative teams with commercial teams.
  • Experience building repeatable workflows, processes, and playbooks from one-off requests.
  • Strong understanding of both content and revenue objectives, including audience loyalty and trust.
  • Strong editorial and operational judgment, including estimating production budgets and timelines.
  • Excellent program-management skills, including agenda-setting, action tracking, and deadline management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to advise content and sales leaders.
  • Passion for high school and youth sports; relevant industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment.
  • Willingness to travel initially to the MaxPreps office in Sacramento, California for training and relationship-building.
