Description

  • Develop and execute the Search strategy and roadmap in partnership with executive, product, engineering, design, and other stakeholders.
  • Build new Search features that reflect unique user intent on Pinterest.
  • Create products that help users find inspiration, browse products, and identify items they want to buy.
  • Investigate opportunities to improve search quality and the overall search experience.
  • Partner with engineering, data science, design, research, marketing, legal, strategy, and other product managers to define, measure, and execute work.
  • Align across teams and organizations to deliver on time in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Use data, user feedback, and intuition to inform product strategy and trade-offs.

Requirements

  • Strong product sense with the ability to build stakeholder buy-in and set a long-term vision.
  • Demonstrated success in product management or related experience at fast-growing companies, particularly on AI/ML-based products.
  • Proven ability to lead in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience making decisions using data analysis and qualitative user feedback.
  • Technical strength and experience partnering closely with engineering teams using a wide range of technologies, including machine learning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous search experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to explain your approach and how you think during the interview process.
  • Willingness to collaborate with AI as part of the role and evaluation process.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $114,297 to $235,319 USD for US-based applicants.
  • Eligible for equity.
  • Flexible PinFlex working model.
  • Role can be situated anywhere in the country.
  • In-office collaboration required only 1-2 times per quarter.
