Description

  • Build technology using advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest.
  • Collaborate with teams across Pinterest to experiment with and improve ML models for Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search.
  • Use data-driven methods and Pinterest’s data to improve candidate retrieval and targeting.
  • Develop and maintain data processing pipelines.
  • Apply large language models to enhance content understanding.
  • Conduct rapid experimentation and support high-impact product launches.
  • Monitor industry trends in recommendation systems and related ML technologies.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
  • Three years of experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
  • Two years of experience with user modeling, personalization, recommender systems, search and ranking, NLP, reinforcement learning, or graph representation learning.
  • Two years of experience building data processing pipelines using Hadoop and Spark.
  • Two years of experience with retrieval targeting.
  • Experience applying current deep learning and machine learning advances.
  • Experience improving ML models across multiple product surfaces.
  • Any suitable combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted.
  • US-based applicants only; relocation assistance is not available.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $215,250–$285,982 per year.
