Description

  • Lead the design of cloud-native and hybrid applications, platforms, and infrastructure.
  • Define system architecture, integration patterns, and technical roadmaps.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized.
  • Develop and oversee multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud strategies across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native services, containerization, and serverless technologies.
  • Guide cloud migration, modernization, and optimization efforts.
  • Define best practices for software architecture, coding standards, and design patterns.
  • Partner with development teams to design microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Ensure security and compliance are integrated throughout the SDLC.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and operations staff to align solutions with organizational strategy.

Requirements

  • Top Secret clearance is required.
  • DoD 8140 certification is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, systems design, or IT architecture is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and large-scale cloud deployments is required.
  • Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is required.
  • Strong proficiency in software development practices, microservices, APIs, and integration frameworks is required.
  • Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines is required.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm is required.
  • Experience with data platforms such as SQL/NoSQL databases, data lakes, and streaming is required.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, IAM, and compliance frameworks is required.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
