Description

  • Lead structured discovery with CFOs, controllers, and finance operations leaders to uncover business pain and priorities.
  • Map prospect requirements to Sage Intacct capabilities across multi-entity consolidations, project accounting, revenue recognition, AP automation, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Design solution architectures that account for integration needs, data migration complexity, and third-party add-ons.
  • Identify and position relevant ISV ecosystem partners as part of the overall solution.
  • Build and deliver tailored Sage Intacct demonstrations tied to each prospect’s specific use case.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept engagements for complex or competitive opportunities.
  • Handle technical objections live during sales conversations and executive presentations.
  • Partner with Account Executives on discovery calls, pipeline reviews, and deal strategy.
  • Coach AEs on first-level product questions and share product knowledge regularly.
  • Create vertical-specific demo scripts, objection-handling guides, and technical proposal content.
  • Contribute to webinars and demand generation content with the marketing team.
  • Work with implementation leads to align pre-sale scope with delivery expectations and participate in transition calls.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct experience in a pre-sales, implementation, or senior consulting role.
  • Deep knowledge of Sage Intacct core modules, including GL, AP, AR, multi-entity, project accounting, and reporting/dashboards.
  • Proven ability to deliver executive-level Sage Intacct demonstrations tailored to client scenarios.
  • Strong discovery and needs-analysis skills with the ability to lead structured conversations with CFO-level stakeholders.
  • Experience with mid-market finance operations, including close processes, consolidations, audit readiness, and reporting needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple active opportunities at once without sacrificing quality or responsiveness.
  • Experience in a VAR or consulting environment is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Sage Intacct integration framework and API is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Sage Intacct ISV ecosystem, such as Martus, Avalera, Nexonia, or Stampli, is preferred.
