Description

  • Lead and manage data migration projects from planning through execution.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies for migration work.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, IT teams, and stakeholders to define data requirements and migration scope.
  • Oversee data validation, cleansing, and testing to ensure post-migration data integrity and accuracy.
  • Coordinate resources and manage dependencies to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data governance policies throughout the migration process.
  • Provide regular status updates, reports, and documentation to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize data migration methods and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience focused on data migration projects in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of data migration tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Understanding of financial systems, regulatory requirements, and data governance principles.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications are advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 8-10+ years of experience is advantageous.
