Description

  • Edit high-volume short-form performance ads using UGC, creator, influencer, studio, stock, and AI-generated footage.
  • Write hooks, scripts, calls-to-action, captions, and overlays optimized for audience retention and conversion.
  • Generate AI videos, avatars, product scenes, voiceovers, and localized creative using tools such as Veo, Kling, Runway, HeyGen, Arcads, and ElevenLabs.
  • Develop creative concepts, briefs, storyboards, shot lists, and new angles with Creative Strategists.
  • Produce structured ad variations for A/B testing, changing individual variables such as hooks, intros, avatars, lengths, and messaging.
  • Review Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CPA, and ROAS data to identify drop-off points and improve creative performance.
  • Export and organize assets in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, and 16:9 formats for immediate media buying use.
  • Build repeatable AI editing workflows and share effective processes with the creative team.
  • Collaborate with Paid Media, Video Producers, Organic Social, Influencer, and Creative Strategy teams.
  • Research competitor and trending ads to keep creative native to each platform.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of video editing experience, including at least 2 years creating paid social ads for DTC or eCommerce brands.
  • Proven experience producing AI-powered ads, with portfolio examples identifying the tools used and personal contribution.
  • Hundreds—ideally thousands—of paid social ads produced, supported by measurable results such as ROAS, CPA, or scaled spend.
  • Daily working experience with AI video tools such as Veo, Kling, Runway, Higgsfield, HeyGen, Arcads, or ElevenLabs.
  • Expertise in Premiere Pro and/or CapCut; After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or motion graphics experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of direct-response advertising, including hooks, pacing, retention, offers, CTAs, and scriptwriting.
  • Working knowledge of Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CPA, and ROAS and how editing affects these metrics.
  • Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to present ideas, receive feedback, and work globally.
  • Ability to deliver high volumes of organized, high-quality creative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in feedback-heavy creative teams at a high-growth brand or performance agency; pet or health and wellness experience is preferred.
