Description

  • Lead end-to-end UX projects from discovery and research through design execution, prototyping, testing, and delivery.
  • Design wireframes, high-fidelity user interfaces, and sophisticated functional prototypes (using Figma) to validate concepts and guide development.
  • Drive the evolution and governance of PetDesk’s design system to ensure scalability and consistency across the product portfolio.
  • Plan and run user research and usability testing to uncover insights, validate design decisions, and inform product strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Experience to align designs with business objectives and technical constraints.
  • Champion and integrate AI-driven design workflows and generative tools/LLMs to accelerate prototyping, automate UI tasks, and refine UX copy.
  • Communicate and present design rationale clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and advocate for user-centered solutions.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment, iterating rapidly and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience designing user interfaces for SaaS products.
  • Expert working knowledge of Figma or a similar design tool and experience creating high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Strong design portfolio that includes research artifacts, wireframes, interaction and visual designs.
  • Proven experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform and validate designs.
  • Experience evolving or maintaining design systems and defining standards for design quality and consistency.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) and how designs translate to implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth, Agile environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with generative design tools and large language models (LLMs) or AI-driven design workflows (preferred).
