Description

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap aligned with portfolio direction and business goals.
  • Prioritize investments across the core platform, new opportunities, and AI-driven infrastructure operations capabilities.
  • Set measurable outcomes and success metrics for major initiatives and ensure accountability for customer and business results.
  • Lead, coach, hire, and develop a team of 5–6 senior product managers.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from customer discovery through launch and post-release outcome review.
  • Validate customer problems before major investment and ensure releases include instrumentation, including for on-premise deployments.
  • Align Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Marketing on roadmap decisions, release planning, packaging, pricing, and go-to-market readiness.
  • Engage customers, partners, and the open-source and DevOps community to validate product direction and translate feedback into roadmap decisions.
  • Track competitors, analysts, and technology trends to shape product positioning, differentiation, and long-term strategy.
  • Represent the product externally and evaluate partnership, ecosystem, and build-versus-buy opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role in DevOps, cloud, or software development.
  • Proven record of delivering complex enterprise software from concept through launch.
  • Experience managing and growing product teams and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and close collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps practices, including configuration management, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and containerization such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience defining and shipping AI-powered capabilities, including production evaluation, governance, and measurement.
  • Experience leading product managers in an AI-enabled operating model across discovery, specification, and delivery, with clear human accountability.
  • Proficiency with product lifecycle tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Aha!, plus strong technical, strategic, communication, and customer-focused abilities.
  • Preferred: experience with infrastructure automation platforms such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or Terraform; open-source models; on-premise or hybrid deployments; and compliance- or security-focused buyers.
  • Preferred: experience applying AI to infrastructure operations and familiarity with AI risks, guardrails, privacy, and trust in regulated or on-premise environments.
  • AI fluency appropriate to the role, including responsible tool use and adherence to company AI governance and security policies.
